But most importantly, when the food arrived it was fantastic! I always want to pump up small restaurants like this, but this food was fantastic, especially considering you're 6 hours inland! ”

“ I've been coming here for years, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. The food is consistently incredible, always fresh, and packed with flavour. Tonight, I went in on a crazy busy Friday, I didn’t mind waiting an extra ten minutes for my order because all good things take time. When my food was ready, they ran it out to me with a free gyoza as a gesture for the wait, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made my night and it was so delicious. The owners and staff are lovely people who are always so kind. Highly recommend eating here!! ”

“ This isn't just my favorite sushi restaurant in the Kootenays, this might just be my favorite sushi restaurant I've ever been to! I came here on what might just be the hardest day of my life so far, I had just said goodbye to my old lady kitty and came here to cheer myself and offer food in her honour. Despite going through something so difficult today I found myself eating more than I thought I could, I just had to try everything! The only thing I could complain about was I couldn't tell from the outside if they were open or not, the open sign in the window wasn't turned on and they have some strong blinds on some of the windows. Inside it made for a calming atmosphere, however Pro tip, the servings on the nigiris we ordered were huge, so I might order some of those next time instead of just the sashimi ”
